Teaching

I codirect a course entitled, "Introduction to Imaging and Image-based Human Anatomy." This course is listed as BioEngineering 220/Radiology 220. It is open to Medical students, senior undergraduates and graduate students in the schools of Engineering and Humanities and Sciences. The aim of the course is to familiarize the student with the basic concepts of medical imaging, and to learn the basic normal human anatomy. You can see the lecture outline at the course webpage.

I also teach 3 lectures at our Autumn Current Concepts of Magnetic Resonance CME Course in Monterey, CA. This course is designed for physicians seeking CME credit, but is often attended by researchers new to the field of MRI. My specific lectures are in MRI Artifacts, Fast Spin Echo MRI, and Ultrafast MRI. I also teach two lectures in Ultrasound Physics to the first year Radiology Residents as they prepare for the physics portion of their board exams.
